Creating a Personal Vision

Creating a Personal Vision means deciding on and effectively visualizing a career choice. It is envisioning yourself successfully pursuing the career of YOUR choice.

This is not something a coach can do for you. Rather a coach will work with you to help you accomplish it.

Your Personal Vision utilizes all the information you have learned about yourself up to now.

There are a number of techniques to encourage the brain to think creatively and devise a happy, meaningful solution— seeing a picture of what would be the right career for you.

For your coach to say to you, ”According to what we now know about you, you should become a teacher, a lawyer, or go into sales,” for example, is not the answer. When people are told they ought to pursue a certain career, they rarely find it meaningful and often fail to see why.

But when someone can coach you to where you are able to figure out for yourself which career would be right for you, it will then feel right to you, make sense to you, and provide a real feeling of satisfaction.
